DNA SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF AN AVIAN ADENOVIRUS TERMINAL PROTEIN PRECURSOR

摘要: Nucleotide sequence of the genomic region between map units 25 and 31 fowl adenovirus serotype 10 (FAV 10) was determined analyzed. An open reading frame (ORF) running from right to left (that is on /-strand) 1806 nucleotides in length found. This ORF encoded a polypeptide 602 amino acids with molecular weight (M[r]) approximately 70.4 kilo-Daltons. The location be 25.5 29.5, similar position human (HAV) terminal protein precursor (pTP). From its size, approximate direction transcription, this suspected FAV10 homologue pTP. Amino acid comparison HAV2 pTP revealed an similarity 32.4% but 51 shorter length. A potential proteolytic cleavage site identified which would create post-cleavage 316 acids, again comparable 322 TP HAV.
