摘要: Abstract Objective The aim of the present 6-month follow-up study was to assess effect mechanical debridement (MD) with adjunct antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) in treatment peri-implant diseases type-2 diabetic smokers and non-smokers. Methods Patients were divided into 2 groups: (a) Group-1: smokers; (b) Group-2: In both groups, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) levels bleeding on probing (BOP) depth (PD) ≥4 mm measured at baseline after 6 months follow-up. Group comparisons performed using Kruskall-Wallis test for multiple Bonferroni post hoc used. Level significance set P Results Sixty-four individuals (33 Group-1 31 Group-2) included.
