摘要: A 38-year-old obese woman, with a past medical history of cholecystectomy and dyslipidaemia, presented acute occipital headache, vomiting rotational vertigo which lasted 8 hours. On admission neurological examination was unremarkable, however general physical revealed hepatomegaly. Routine blood tests showed abnormal liver function tests. MRI scan indicated an ischemic infarct in the right cerebellum. Extensive investigation negative. However, multiple lesions both lobes. Ultrasound guided biopsy histopathological analysis confirmed diagnosis hepatic hemangioendothelioma. In conclusion, hypercoaguable state related to epithelioid hemangioendothelioma can lead stroke, as rare first manifestation disease.
