摘要: Background/purpose To describe the clinical and histologic characteristics of ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN) evaluate factors significant in recurrence at a university hospital North Taiwan. Methods Patient charts, features, pathology records were retrospectively reviewed patients with pathology-proved OSSN from January, 1994 to December, 2014. Clinicopathologic correlation was analyzed. Results Thirty-six recruited. Mean age 63.4 ± 13.0 (ranging 23 87) years old. predominant men (21/36). Clinical appearances included papilliform 17 eyes, gelatinous 11 leukoplakic 3 5 eyes corneal intraepithelial (CIN). Of 31 conjunctival OSSN, there 4 CIN I, II, 13 III, cell carcinoma. Superior location associated higher-grade OSSN. Although statistical analysis not significant, multifocal lesions showed trend high-grade The stages tumor 4, 5, 26, 1 eye(s) T1 T4, respectively. Recurrence disease occurred 9 cases (25%) mean time 20.6 (range: 65) months. Multifocal lesion has higher tendency for recurrence. Conclusion might have severe invasive lesions. be rates.
