摘要: Adult flies of the genus Stomoxys Geoffroy, 1762 (Diptera: Muscidae), especially S. pullus Austen, 1909, uruma Shinonaga et Kano, 1966 and indicus Picard, 1908, are morphologically similar sometimes difficult to distinguish when using external morphological characteristics. These species may act as vectors and/or potential many pathogens (virus, bacteria protozoa). Their correct identification is important target involved in transmission also helps fly control program. The aim present study was three which separate traditional diagnostic characters for such colour patterns body proportions. Modern morphometrics, both landmark outline-based, used access wing geometry pullus, indicus. A total 198 190 pictures were analysed landmark- outline-based approaches, respectively. Wing shape able sexes with highly significant difference Mahalanobis distances. The cross-validated classification scores ranged from 76% 100% 77% 96% morphometrics. features appears be a very useful, low-cost tool among
