摘要: BACKGROUND The concurrent determination of methylation status E-cadherin gene and protein expression remains scant in metastatic prostate cancer cells bone, the most prevalent site for growth. Therefore, study was undertaken to ascertain gene, a frequent known epigenetic mechanism its regulation, tissue biopsy specimen. METHODS The determined by specific-PCR immunohistochemical method consecutive sections each specimen. RESULTS The unmethylated homogeneous significantly associated with BPH as compared primary carcinoma (Fisher's Exact P < 0.001). A significant association observed between methylated markedly reduced cells, suggesting methylation-dependent regulation these cases. In contrast cancer, highly increase frequency bone exhibited P < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS The clearly demonstrated that may have role intercellular adhesion formation lesions bone.
