摘要: Abstract The effect of Herbst appliance treatment on facial growth one patient was recorded in terms displacement the mandible and maxillary bones relation to frontal bone. recordings were made with an accuracy 0.1 degree 0.05 mm. (S.D.). Before jaws displaced posteriorly affected side growth, increasing retrognathia asymmetry. During redirected anteriorly unaffected side, decreasing At same time, however, tilt increased, possibly because morphologic functional conditions hemifacial microsomia. dental malocclusion corrected partly through dentoalveolar adaptation.
