Neurology of Rheumatologic Disorders

摘要: Rheumatologic diseases encompass autoimmune and inflammatory disorders of the joints soft tissues that often involve multiple organ systems, including central peripheral nervous systems. Common features include constitutional symptoms, arthralgia arthritis, myalgia, sicca symptoms. Neurological manifestations may present in patients with preexisting rheumatologic diagnoses, occur concurrently systemic signs or precede by months to years. Rheumatic presenting as neurological syndromes pose diagnostic challenges. Advances immunosuppressive treatment disease have expanded armamentarium. However, serious neurotoxic effects been reported both old newer agents. Familiarity diseases, diagnosis, potential system consequences is important for rapid diagnosis appropriate intervention. This article briefly reviews diverse key clinical rheumatic complications agents commonly used treatment.
