摘要: Abstract Living with wild mammals is a critical challenge globally, especially in mixed-use landscapes such as Transfrontier Conservation Areas that aim to conserve wildlife well implement programs improve livelihoods. The success of initiatives depends on local communities willingness tolerate potential costs from wildlife. However, the drivers tolerance are not understood, relative importance non-monetary and benefits, which often measured surveys. We conducted surveys based Wildlife Tolerance Model (WTM) investigate for 286 farmers 78 villages living around Sioma-Ngewzi National Park southern Zambia, section Kavango-Zambezi Area (KAZA), where monetary benefits available. found were significant tolerance, meaning absence can promote tolerance.
