摘要: Purpose of review White adipose tissue is necessary for optimal energy homeostasis and the excessive development fat mass clearly associated with metabolic syndrome. The fact that adipocytes secrete a number specific factors or ‘adipokines’ has forced reassessment involvement in wide range physiological pathophysiological processes. Obesity recently been described as ‘low-grade’ inflammatory condition, state proposed to represent common determinator genesis obesity-associated pathologies, i.e. diabetes atherosclerosis. Recent findings reports an increase macrophages infiltrate obese individuals led suggestion itself source site inflammation. Summary This summarizes recent data on characterization macrophage population tissue. Their origin, fate activation will be considered. potential insulin resistance vascular well control growth metabolism, examined.
