摘要: — More than 25% of undirected percutaneous liver needle biopsies that are performed in search metastatic neoplasms yield false negative specimens. Often, however, histologic changes observed the adjacent to space-occupying lesions due focal obstruction bile and blood flow. These alterations were defined by semi-quantitative evaluation 20 biopsy specimens with neoplasms, revealed a characteristic triad consisting proliferated abnormal ductules, polymorphonuclear leukocytes edematous portal tracts sinusoidal dilatation. When 15 patients this combination alterations, but without malignant cells specimens, investigated prospectively, 13 (87%) found have hepatic metastases. Therefore, observation described here should lead continued for liver.
