摘要: Trophic factors control cellular physiology by activating specific receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). While the over activation of RTK signaling pathways is associated with cell growth and cancer, recent findings support concept that impaired down-regulation or deactivation RTKs may also be a mechanism involved in tumor formation. Under this perspective, molecular determinants inhibition act as tumor-suppressor genes have potential role markers to monitor predict disease progression. Here, we review current understanding physiological mechanisms attenuate discuss evidence implicates deregulation these events cancer.
