摘要: The introduction in pathology practice of a new biomarker that is contributing to define disease requires series investigations. Now biomarkers are being discovered continuously it important learn from successful examples markers presently widely used. In this historical account the steps described have led use immunohistochemical staining tissue samples with an antibody against cyclinD1 diagnose mantle cell lymphoma. Furthermore, short outlook given on proteomics as tool diagnosis lymphoma and potential route be taken for introducing technology into clinical practice.
