摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the cytochemical approach to hormone assay. It describes how quantitative cytochemistry can be a highly reliable as well an extremely sensitive form of cellular biochemistryThe use for assay hormones, often at concentrations low 10-15–10-12 gm/ml, is only one aspect potential this or ultramicrobiochemistry. General principles that were applied original bioassay (for adrenocorticotrophic ACTH) have been used develop bioassays other polypeptide and more are being developed. The same detect effect, measure concentration, any biologically active substance, it hormone, toxin, pharmaceutically useful drug. great advantage with respect last these fact biological activity drug assessed on human tissue, because little tissue required techniques.
