摘要: Since the first wave of coronavirus disease in March 2020, citizens and permanent residents returning to New Zealand have been required undergo managed isolation quarantine (MIQ) for 14 days mandatory testing severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2). As October 20, 62,698 arrivals, persons MIQ had identified 215 cases SARS-CoV-2 infection. Among 86 passengers on a flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that arrived September 29, test results were positive 7 MIQ. These originated 5 different countries before layover Dubai; negative predeparture results. To assess possible points infection, we analyzed information about their journeys, progression, virus genomic data. All genomes genetically identical, except single mutation 1 sample. Despite testing, multiple instances in-flight transmission are likely.
