摘要: Researchers have obtained conflicting results regarding which of the four cells a two-by-two information matrix affect covariation judgments. Here published studies are used as data in lens model study. Regression models were estimated for actual correlation and subjects' judged correlation, with independent variables models. It was concluded that all affected judgments this meta-analysis complex Pearson's phi well approximated by linear model. Additionally, aggregated matched better than they phi. Additional analyses conducted to test whether cell usage differed when sets negative deleted (they did not), experimenter emphasis on use (it appears likely), match an artifact using likely).
