摘要: A fully habituated (auxin- and cytokinin-independent) self-regenerating (organo-genic) sugar beet cell line (HO) a non-organogenic one (HNO) derived from the former one, were analyzed as to their nuclear size DNA content. Flow cytometry image analysis used cells of certified diploid leaves same strain served controls. The HNO had been shown previously have many characteristics cancerous cells. analyses made on indicated presence only population cycling In HO cells, two populations detected: first content while second contained fold more than population. showed higher also evidence aneuploidy. Thus, size, ploidy level increase together with neoplasic progression culminate in loss organogenic totipotency.
