The potential utility of some legal highs in CNS disorders

摘要: Over the last decade there has been an explosion of new drugs abuse, so called legal highs or novel psychoactive substances (NPS). Many these abused have unknown pharmacology, but their biological effects can be anticipated from molecular structure and possibly also online user reports. When considered with findings that some prescription medications are increasingly tested clinically one could argue a blurring line between abuse used drugs. In this review we examine highs/NPS consider whether, based on known predicted might potential to useful in CNS disorders.
