摘要: The eggshell serves as a depository for proteinsthat play an important role in early embryonic development. In particular, the Drosophila is responsible transferring asymmetries from egg chamber to specify regions at both ends of embryo through uneven activation Torso (Tor) receptor its membrane. This process relies on restricted expression genetorso-like (tsl )i n subpopulations follicle cells during oogenesis and protein accumulation poles eggshell, but it not known how this signal transmitted embryo. Here, we show that Tsl accumulatesattheembryonicplasmamembrane, evenintheabsence Tor receptor. However, oogenesis, detected accumulationonlyat eggshell. These results suggest there isa two-step mechanism transfer asymmetric positional cues into embryo: initial anchoring secreted, followed by later translocation plasma membrane, where enables activation. Translocation anchored determinants might then regulate spatial temporal control developmental processes.
