摘要: Astrocyte elevated gene-1 (AEG-1), also known as metadherin (MTDH) and lysine-rich CEACAM1 coisolated (LYRIC), was initially cloned in 2002. AEG-1/MTDH/LYRIC has emerged an important oncogene that is overexpressed multiple types of human cancer. Expanded research on established a functional role this molecule several crucial aspects tumor progression, including transformation, proliferation, cell survival, evasion apoptosis, migration invasion, metastasis, angiogenesis, chemoresistance. The multifunctional development progression associated with number signaling cascades, recent studies identified interacting partners regulating cancer promotion other biological functions. This review evaluates the current literature function relative to changes, partners, angiogenesis highlights new perspectives molecule, indicating its potential significant target for clinical treatment various cancers diseases.
