摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on Mls and the bacterial toxic mitogens. The mouse expresses products of several genes mapping to different chromosomes whose effect is influence expressed repertoire T cell receptors solely in terms Vβ gene segment utilized receptor. Allelic polymorphisms some these can directly stimulate proliferative responses they are known as “minor lymphocyte stimulating ( ) genes.” These structures called “Vβ selective elements,” or Vbse. Although much about Vbse, crucial questions this field remain be answered. determination responsiveness by usage readily explained very high precursor frequency responding cells, because 5–15% normal cells express encoded a single segment. broadens consideration include two other sets molecules with similar functional effects. first proteins that mimic all properties Mls, staphylococcal enterotoxins their relatives. second produce but not effects mouse.
