摘要: Objective: To compare the quality of perilymphatic enhancement in rat inner ear after intratympanic injection two types gadolinium with a 9.4-tesla micro-MRI. Materials and Methods: Gadolinium was injected into middle 6 Sprague-Dawley rats via transtympanic route. The left Gd-DO3A-butrol first, then right Gd-DOTA. MR images were acquired 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4 h (IT) using an Agilent MRI system 9.4T/160/AS. normalized signal intensity quantitatively analyzed at scala vestibuli (SV), media, tympani (ST) Marosis M-view system. Then intensities (SIs) compared between contrast agents. Results: For Gd-DO3A-butrol, SI as low 1.0-1.5 throughout 1-4 SV ST basal turn. maximum 1.5 ± 0.5 (2 h) 1.3 h). Gd-DOTA, 1-hour postinjection turn 2.5 SV, 1.6 0.3 ST, 1.2 media. In apical turn, reached h. 1.8 0.4 (3.5 h), (4 1.4 media Conclusions: We able to clearly visualize separate IT Gd recommend over Gd-DOTA perform ear.
