摘要: A promising approach for the eradication of biofilm formed by yeast Candida albicans seems to be photodynamic inactivation (PDI). This work presents a use methylene blue (MB, 1 mM) irradiated with red laser (output power 190 mW/cm2, wavelength 660 nm) fluconazole-resistant (FLC-resistant) strain C. CY 1123 compared standard SC5314. The periods irradiation corresponded fluence 15, 23 and 57 J/cm2. Effectiveness PDI was evident following percentage survived cells: 24.57, 23.46, 22.29% SC5314 40.28, 17.91, 5.89% 1123, respectively, samples without irradiation. Light confocal scanning microscopy confirmed effectiveness PDI. However, morphological form play an important role as well, since prolonged duration did not increase efficiency on An experiment yeast-to-hyphae transition revealed that FLC-resistant expressed markedly reduced capacity hyphae We summarized effective strain, but resistance most likely significant in Additionally, we observed differences susceptibility between biofilms composed mycelia only yeasts, finally, employment enabled decreasing period while maintaining high
