摘要: Microsatellite instability (MI) and K-ras oncogene mutation have been widely used as biomarkers of genetic changes in colorectal cancer (CRC). Each these was independently found normal-appearing colonic mucosa at stages preceding the development CRC, albeit a relatively low incidence. To assess potential value combined MI analysis detection samples taken from patients with we chosen to analyze multiple (3-7) normal respective tumor tissues 20 CRC. As control, 54 obtained 9 autopsies without In least 1 5 loci analyzed, 8 via each patient. Combined mutant ras alleles enabled identification 11 None CRC were carry or MI. The ability detect 55% provides an important advance our approach toward early individuals who may be risk develop this type.
