摘要: Objective: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is one of the leading causes cancer deaths worldwide. CD9 has been reported to play a critical role in motility, growth and metastasis multiple cancers. The present study investigated clinicopathological features CD9, its biological characteristics ESCC. Methods: Fifteen normal esophageal tissue specimens, fifty-three ESCC adjacent tissues hundred four were included this study. Using immunohistochemistry (IHC), expression levels evaluated among different samples. And parameters prognostic factors analyzed. Western blotting was used measure colony formation performed determine effect on TE-1 cells. Results: Compared with tumor tissues, level significantly higher tissues. correlated stage (P = 0.022) lymph node 0.019) patients. Furthermore, small interfering RNA-mediated silencing cells resulted increased proliferation as evidenced by number size. Conclusion: upregulated suppresses may potential progression
