摘要: Permanent cardiac pacing was proposed 10 years ago as an additional treatment for heart failure refractory to medical treatment.1 If the results of standard dual-chamber are disappointing, those biventricular appear be more promising, at least in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy and significant intraventricular conduction delay. Indeed, several acute hemodynamic studies have shown that could significantly improve performance.2‐5 Following these encouraging results, teams implant permanent pacemakers who treatment, assess long-term benefit this technique. This study compares clinical effects indication, stable sinus rhythm or chronic atrial fibrillation (AF).
