摘要: During the last 50 years, medical devices have gained growing importance (Darouiche 2004). On one side, there is an increasing need due to higher median age of population suffering from degenerative diseases. other technology evolved and many functions can be replaced by novel devices, such as cochlear implants, brain stimulators, ventricular assist (Waldvogel Bisno 2000). In addition, broader availability health insurance in some countries led increased use especially orthopedic cardiac devices. As example, annual number inserted joint prostheses 600,000, pacemaker-defibrillators 300,000 USA
