摘要: Abstract Purpose The purpose of the study was to evaluate treatment results adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) airway at a single institution during 30-year period. Materials and methods All cases ACC over period one tertiary care were reviewed retrospectively. demographics, modalities, pathologic characteristics, outcomes evaluated. Results Eleven patients treated for with an age range 25 72 years (median, 48 years). Two local recurrence disease, which occurred 10 months postoperatively. One died distant metastatic disease 16 months. Follow-up varied from 4 168 31 months). Conclusions We report high disease-free survival rates who definitive resection followed by radiation. There is higher risk distal location. Distant ultimately determines survival.
