The MEPLAN models of Bilbao, Leeds and Dortmund

摘要: A trio of closely related land‐use/transport interaction models was developed using Marcial Echenique & Partners’ software package MEPLAN. The were for the cities Bilbao, (Spain), Dortmund (West Germany) and Leeds (England). All calibrated data drawn from earlier studies. three used to predict effects (relative a base case) common programme land‐use transport policies or scenarios. This paper explains briefly theoretical basis MEPLAN as applied urban such these three; describes types that have been assessed; presents some key results.
