摘要: Mutations of the p53 gene are common in human ovarian carcinomas; however, their role early development cancer is unclear. Twelve borderline tumors (BTs; eight them immunopositive) and 10 stage I carcinomas (four were studied for genetic alterations gene. The study was based on single-strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP) analysis DNA sequencing exons 2 through 11 using preparations from microdissected tumors. found 40% (including a component adjacent to carcinoma one lesion) but none pure BTs. These findings suggest that mutations may not be commonly associated with phenotype epithelial occur during malignant transformation.
