摘要: Analysis of the coenzyme Q system and monosaccharide pattern purified cell walls were used for species characterization in genus Kluyveromyces. All type strains possess Q-6 mannose-glucose (‘Saccharomyces type’) wall sugar pattern. With help Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA-Polymerase Chain Reaction analysis 17 separated: K. aestuarii, africanus, bacillisporus, blattae, delphensis, dobzhanski, lactis (anamorph Candida sphaerica), lodderae, marxianus (syn. fragilis, bulgaricus, cicerisporus anamorphs macedoniensis, C. pseudotropicalis, kefyr), phaffii, piceae, polysporus, sinensis, thermotolerans veronae, anamorph dattila), waltii, wickerhamii, yarrowii tannotolerans). A strain drosophilarum showed with only 63% similarity. The originally described as cellobiovorus nom. nud. was excluded from (Q-9), found to be conspecific intermedia.
