摘要: Purpose In the West, curative (R0) resection is achieved in approximately 50% of patients with localized gastric carcinoma, and more than 60% die cancer following an R0 resection. A multi-institutional study preoperative chemoradiotherapy was done to assess rate, pathologic complete response (pathCR) safety, survival resectable carcinoma. Patients Methods Operable adenocarcinoma were eligible. Staging also included a laparoscopy endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). received up two 28-day cycles induction chemotherapy fluorouracil, leucovorin, cisplatin, followed by 45 Gy radiation plus concurrent fluorouracil. then staged surgery attempted.
