摘要: One hundred and thirty two women with normal breast screening results were interviewed six months after their attendance at the Edinburgh Breast Screening Clinic. Eight percent of said had made them more anxious about developing cancer. Thirty eight they aware disease since but regarded this as advantageous. Seventy still practising self-examination. There was no difference in psychiatric morbidity screened sample when compared a matched random community control group. Neither there any General Health Questionnaire case rates before screening. does not appear to increase prevalence morbidity.
