摘要: Cadmium and progesterone concentrations were evaluated in term placentas collected from 56 healthy parturients the city of Zagreb. Concentrations lead, iron, zinc, copper analyzed. Data by questionnaire identified 29 nonsmoking 27 smoking women. From each placenta, three samples different locations taken. Metals measured atomic absorption spectrometry. Progesterone was determined specific radioimmunoassay homogenized lyophilized tissue after steroid extraction with ethanol. No effect sample location found. In women an increase cadmium, reduced a decrease iron Placental zinc not altered. conclusion, results present new evidence that maternal reduces placental content support established association cadmium.
