摘要: Oxidative stress is believed to be a major factor for the onset of Parkinson’s disease (PD). In this study, we have investigated oxidative status in transgenic Drosophila model PD. Our results revealed elevated levels reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxidation (LPO) A30P A53T α-synuclein PD flies compared control. We demonstrated first time ameliorating potential natural antioxidants characterized from roots Dh flies. Feeding with aqueous root extract 21 days significantly improved their climbing ability circadian rhythm locomotor activity which was associated reduction ROS LPO enhancement activities catalase (CAT) superoxide dismutase (SOD). protected against paraquat (PQ) sensitivity delayed PD-like symptoms appears mediated by suppression stress.
