摘要: The embryonic vasculature develops in a conserved manner all vertebrates. Endothelial progenitor cells differentiate from mesodermal cells, then migrate and assemble into the dorsal aorta cardinal vein. This primitive circulatory loop undergoes sprouting branching via two-step navigation mechanism to form trunk vascular network. Various studies using several model systems have uncovered number of signaling mechanisms that regulate these complex processes. A genetic approach zebrafish has led identification mutations molecules are responsible for specification endothelial differentiation arterial venous patterning intersegmental vessels. These highlight unique utilities benefits system studying development blood
