The nephrotic syndrome in the first year of life: is a pathologic classification possible?

摘要: Six infants whose onset of nephrotic syndrome occurred in the first year life are presented. On basis clinical and histologic findings these a careful review pertinent literature, classification based on histopathology immunopathology is proposed. The includes infantile microcystic disease, minimal lesion syndrome, focal glomerular sclerosis, omniglomerular diffuse mesangial epimembranous glomerulopathy, group miscellaneous conditions which rarely may be associated with syndrome. This provides useful guide to precision diagnosis, treatment, prognosis life.
