摘要: Purpose of review As the field endoscopy progresses, new tools and techniques continue to be developed for gastroenterology in general gastrointestinal oncology particular. Some these include enhancements diagnostic optics such as chromoendoscopy, magnification endoscopy, confocal laser endomicroscopy. Others advanced therapeutics endoscopic mucosal resection submucosal dissection. In this review, we will update reader on latest technologies, their benefits risks, well role evaluating, staging, treating gastric neoplasms, especially adenocarcinoma, stromal tumors, primary lymphoma. Recent findings Noteworthy studies indicate that properly selected patients with dissection is a viable alternative 100% 5-year survival rates; metastatic imatinib can provide effective treatment reasonable outcome; low grade mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, eradication therapy antibiotics curative very recurrence rate. Summary The advances discussed have significantly improved care offer our oncology. With continued advancement field, it crucial study outcomes safety develop structured training those looking perform procedures.
