摘要: Despite tremendous efforts to reduce deaths due gastric cancer, it represents the second leading cause of cancer-related worldwide. EGF receptor (EGFR) plays important roles in carcinogenesis by regulation cell cycle, angiogenesis and apoptosis. This review evaluates functions, mechanisms clinical uses EGFR cancer. Although targeted single therapy shows limited effect, combination agents with traditional chemotherapy regimens may bring about progress cancer therapy. More trials should be performed clarify both prognostic therapeutic value
