Prevalence of G-to-T transversions among K-ras oncogene mutations in human colorectal tumors in Yugoslavia.

摘要: Human colorectal carcinoma tissue sampled from 37 patients, routinely graded into Dukes' stages A, B and C histologically examined for the level of differentiation, were analyzed presence point mutations in K-ras oncogene. Seventeen cases out found to have a mutation either 12th or 13th codon gene, giving an overall frequency 46%. The incidence was 33, 46 58% respectively. Although appears be similar that reported USA population, spectrum codons 12 13 gene Yugoslav population differ significantly. G-to-T trans-versions make up 77% all present, with distribution as follows: 18% at first base 59% second 13. G-to-A transitions is only other identified, occurring mainly tumors 3 stages.
