摘要: Abstract Hematoma expansion is an important consideration in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). No precise methods are available, however, for predicting the of TBI-related hematoma. We aimed to establish a more sensitive predictor contusional hematoma based on presence leakage signs computed tomography angiography (CTA). Thirty-three pure contusion were included analysis (age: 64.1 ± 20.6 years; 24 men and 7 women). compared Hounsfield unit (HU) values within set regions interest (diameter, 10 mm) between serial CTA phase delayed-phase CT images (5 min after phase). Positive defined as >10% increases HU value. was determined using plain at 24 h who did not undergo emergent surgery. Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) scores measured admission also compared.
