摘要: Interferon-induced transmembrane protein 1 (IFITM1) has recently been implicated in tumorigenesis. However, the prognostic value of IFITM1 colorectal cancer remains unknown. The present study aimed to examine expression and significance human cancer. was analyzed 144 archived, paraffin-embedded tissues corresponding normal mucosa by immunohistochemistry. correlation with clinic-pathological features overall survival patients evaluated. overexpressed colonic but not rectal tissues, compared control tissues. significantly higher poor differentiation (P=0.031). had worse outcomes than those lower (P=0.037). Univariate Cox regression suggested that older age poorly status predict shorter (P<0.05). a significant factor for univariate or multivariate analyses. In conclusion, high is associated prognosis may serve as an independent biomarker
