The Effectiveness of Intervention Programmes for Children of Divorce - a Meta-Analysis

摘要: This study in the form of a meta-analysis evaluates overall effectiveness intervention programmes for children divorce. A total 23 studies were analysed (total population N = 1 615). The average effect size (ES) all was d 0.43 based on homogeneous set data. best results attained by interventions applied during first two years after separation/divorce (d 0.99) at age 9-12 0.50) with no more than ten sessions 0.66), each lasting about 60-75 minutes 0.61). Group not so relevant, but there is tendency groups medium to be efficient small groups. found dependent methodological quality studies, and method operationalisation used. are discussed terms possibilities improving further developing divorce (eg selecting risk groups).
