摘要: Total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) was used to determine sulfur, chlorine, potassium, and calcium in atmospheric aerosol samples. Aerosols collected a size fractionation cascade impact collector were dissolved water, the solution placed on quartz x-ray reflector plate. spectra acquired by using prototype TXRF spectrometer. Cobalt as an internal standard added after dissolution of aerosol. Detection limits low 325 pg for sulfur 60 obtained. Aerosol samples between 38 387 ..mu..g prepare specimens. Good agreement obtained calculated sulfate ion chromatographic determination. These results show that may hold significant potential analytical method determination major minor elements no more than few hundred micrograms sample.
