摘要: In recent years, acoustic perturbation measurement has gained clinical and research popularity due to the ease of availability commercial analysing software packages in market. However, because itself depends critically on accuracy frequency tracking from voice signal, researchers argue that measures are not suitable for dysphonic samples, which aperiodic nature. This study compares fundamental frequency, relative amplitude perturbation, shimmer percent noise-to-harmonic ratio between a group non-dysphonic subjects. One hundred twelve subjects (93 females 19 males) 41 (35 6 participated study. All 153 samples were categorized into type I (periodic or nearly periodic), II (signals with subharmonic frequencies approach frequency) III (aperiodic) signals. Only periodic) signals acoustically analysed measures. Results revealed female presented significantly lower higher values than group. none these three able differentiate male The failed voices both gender groups. These results question sensitivity detecting dysphonia suggest contemporary signals, even periodic.
