摘要: Background: Countries following the traditional Mediterranean Diet, particularly Southern European countries, have lower prostate cancer incidence and mortality compared to other regions. The beneficial effect has been attributed a specific eating pattern. Objective: purpose of this review is examine evidence date on effects adherence Diet risk; identify which elements diet are likely protect against cancer. Methods: search for articles came from extensive research in databases: PubMed, Scopus Web Science. We used terms “Mediterranean diet”, “adherence”, “fruit vegetable“, “olive oil“, “fish” “legume”, “cereal” “alcohol” “milk”, “dairy product”,“prostate cancer”, combinations, such as cancer” or “Olive oil cancer”. Results: There strong supporting associations between foods that typical pattern reduced risk. However, there few studies assessed incidence.
