摘要: Background: Countries following the traditional Mediterranean Diet, particularly Southern European countries, have lower prostate cancer incidence and mortality compared to other regions. The beneficial effect has been attributed a specific eating pattern. Objective: purpose of this review is examine evidence date on effects adherence Diet risk; identify which elements diet are likely protect against cancer. Methods: search for articles came from extensive research in databases: PubMed, Scopus Web Science. We used terms “Mediterranean diet”, “adherence”, “fruit vegetable“, “olive oil“, “fish” “legume”, “cereal” “alcohol” “milk”, “dairy product”,“prostate cancer”, combinations, such as cancer” or “Olive oil cancer”. Results: There strong supporting associations between foods that typical pattern reduced risk. However, there few studies assessed incidence. Recent data do not support risk disease progression. after diagnosis nonmetastatatic was associated with overall mortality. Conclusion: Further large-scale required clarify health, order establish role prevention
