摘要: In yeast and worm, duplicate genes overlap in function so that deleting one of a pair from the genome is less likely to be lethal than singleton gene. By contrast, previous analyses showed mouse were as essential singletons. We show relationship between gene duplication essentiality complex multicellular organisms, with developmental duplicated by whole being more other genes.
