摘要: Antibody-dependent cytotoxicity mediated by purified monocytes was determined in 42 patients suffering from acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Compared to 9 with bacterial infection and normal controls, untreated AML exhibited deeply depressed monocyte cytotoxicity. Cytotoxicity reduced each of the cytomorphological subgroups AML. Patients attaining remission showed same as not remission. During increased significantly, but function achieved. receiving chemotherapy alone defective plus immunotherapy Corynebacterium parvum. The termination maintenance after for 1 year did normalize Also affected patient serum. It is suggested that observed related leukaemic process. lack complete normalization during may indicate continuous presence an intrinsic defect monocytopoiesis.
