摘要: We sought to investigate the relationship between blood pressure (BP) variability and left atrial (LA) phasic function assessed by volumetric speckle tracking method in normal-weight, overweight obese hypertensive patients. This cross-sectional study included 164 untreated subjects who underwent a 24-h ambulatory BP monitoring complete two-dimensional echocardiographic examination (2DE). All patients were separated into three groups according their body mass index (BMI): normal-weight (BMI < 25 kg/m2), (25 ≤ BMI 30 ≥ kg/m2). Daytime, nighttime 24 h indices higher than lean Maximum minimum LA volumes volume indexes gradually significantly increased, whereas pre-A LAV decreased, from subjects. Total passive emptying fractions, representing reservoir conduit function, reduced individuals. Active EF, parameter of booster pump increased same direction. Similar results obtained 2DE strain analysis. parameters associated with structural, functional mechanical remodeling whole population. The negatively related indices, positively indices. Obesity impacts is independent BP, ventricular systolic diastolic function.
