摘要: We present the results of what we believe to be first study power efficiency room temperature photoluminescence from thin films silica containing silicon nanoclusters. Films were prepared by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition silane and nitrous oxide precursors. Luminescence was excited using 476 nm line an argon-ion laser. have measured efficiencies for samples that exhibit luminescence solely due radiative recombination quantum confined excitons. Efficiencies around 0.04% are reported.
